Soldier Field Tickets: Chicago Fan FAQ
Where is Soldier Field?
Soldier Field is at 1410 Special Olympics Drive on Chicago's Museum Campus, along Lake Michigan and just south of downtown. Allow extra time to reach the stadium on event days, when traffic and pedestrian crowds can be heavy.
What is the best way to get to Soldier Field?
For many events, public transit is a convenient option. Take the CTA Red, Green, or Orange Line to Roosevelt station, then walk about 15?20 minutes to the stadium. Metra riders can get off at Museum Campus/11th Street station, which is a short walk away. Check current CTA, Metra, and event-day service before leaving, as schedules and access can vary.
Where can I park for an event at Soldier Field?
Parking is available in Museum Campus lots and garages, but spaces can sell out or become difficult to access during major events. Review the event's official parking information and reserve a permitted space in advance when possible. Follow posted routes and allow additional time for traffic around the campus.
How early should I arrive at Soldier Field?
Plan to arrive at least 60?90 minutes before the event, and earlier if you are driving, attending a game with pre-event activities, or need extra time for security and entry. Check your ticket and the event's current gate-opening information before you travel.
What should I know before buying Soldier Field tickets?
Compare the section, row, seat location, and any listed restrictions before completing your purchase. Stadium sightlines and the distance to the field vary by seating area. Buy from a reputable ticket provider, confirm the event date and entry details, and review the seller's delivery and refund policies.
Can I bring a bag into Soldier Field?
Bag rules may depend on the event and are subject to change. Soldier Field commonly applies a clear-bag policy, so check the venue's current policy for permitted bag dimensions, exceptions, and prohibited items before you leave. Traveling with only essentials can help speed up entry.
Are Soldier Field tickets available on event day?
Tickets may remain available for purchase close to event time, but availability and prices can change quickly. Check listings for your specific event, verify that the tickets are valid for the correct date and section, and use mobile delivery only if you can access the tickets on your phone before reaching the gate.
